Pasta with Sardines

Who said that tomato sauce is just for chicken parm? Enjoy this seafood recipe with our Roasted Garlic sauce and the pasta of your choice - we like pappardelle the best, but spaghetti and linguine or any other store bought pastas would taste great too!

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil and salt to taste like the sea. 

  • Put 4 to 5 tablespoons of olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the fennel, onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables begin to soften, about 10 minutes.

  • Add the Roasted Garlic sauce and bring to a simmer. While the tomato sauce is simmering, cook your pasta to al dente. Drain pasta.

  • Remove the tomato sauce from the heat and gently mix in the sardines.

  • Toss with the sauce with the pasta and serve.
