Individual Margherita Naan Pizzas
We know that the best tomatoes make the best tomato sauce, so by the transitive property, that must mean that the best tomato sauce makes the best pizza — right? To be fair, we’re a tomato sauce brand, not mathematicians. But all you have to do is taste this incredibly easy, delicious Margherita Naan Pizza to understand where we’re coming from! Individual servings means it’s easy to portion control, and our low-carb tomato sauce helps keep each serving healthy.
Ingredients (Serves 6):
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
6 slices of naan
4 tablespoons basil paste
2-3 fresh tomatoes, thinly sliced
24oz shredded mozzarella
12oz grated parmigianino
Directions:
Add Arrabbiata tomato sauce to a small saucepan and simmer over medium heat until thick, approximately 10 minutes.
Add the garlic powder, turmeric, chili powder and cumin to the sauce, stir and remove from heat.
Spread tomato sauce evenly over the slices of naan.
Place a few dollops of basil paste on top of the tomato sauce.
Evenly sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese.
Add tomato slices to the top of each pizza.
Sprinkle the parmigiano over top.
Broil for 2 minutes, watching the naan pizzas to ensure they do not burn.
Slice and enjoy!
