Crispy Ravioli with Arrabbiata Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Jar The Jersey Tomato Co. Arrabbiata Sauce

  • 2 9oz packages of gluten-free ravioli 

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup gluten-free bread crumbs

  • ½ cup nutritional yeast

  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • Olive oil spray

  • 1 tbsp basil for garnish

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease a large cookie sheet.

  • Prepare your dipping station by cracking your eggs into a low baking dish (a pie pan works great) and lightly beating. In a separate dish stir together your bread crumbs, nutritional yeast, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

  • To bread your ravioli, dip into the egg first and then into the bread crumb mixture, pressing the mixture into the ravioli to form a nice crust. Set on the greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ravioli.

  • Spray the ravioli with olive oil spray (this will ensure that they get nice and crispy). 

  • Bake in the oven for 22-25 minutes, checking halfway through to ensure even browning. 

  • Once the ravioli are nicely browned, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before handling.

  • Add The Jersey Tomato Co. Arrabbiata Sauce to a bowl for dipping. 

  • Plate your ravioli and garnish with basil.
